Eternity and a Day

Eternity and a Day is a beautiful Greek movie about a dying man making peace with his life. Along the way, he gets involved in the life of a child caught up in human trafficking and memories of his late wife is evoked.

Eternity of a Day reminds me of Kiarostami's Taste of Cherry but with a more bittersweet, affectionate tone. The film is beautiful to watch and I could not help myself from taking screen shots throughout the screening. The cinematography is diverse ranging from dreamy, airy sequences to dark, hopeless scenes. Above up, the brilliance of the film is shown through its display of human emotions: fear, hope, and love.
